Originally from South Africa, Fiona moved to London and enjoyed a successful career in banking but after reaching her thirties realised that working in finance was not making her happy and set about choosing a path that would nourish her creative side and give her a sense of enjoyment and fulfilment and quickly settled on her passion for cooking. That's when she started on her next journey at Ashburton, studying the Diploma in Culinary Arts to give her the confidence and skills she wanted to start cooking professionally.
